FAQs

What resolution should I use?
Please use the highest possible quality JPG compression (which means HIGH filesize, LESS compression). The huger the files are you email us, the better they will appear on our website.

What about digital cameras?
The higher the resolution, the better the results. Try to set your cam to "LESS photos, BETTER resolution, LESS compression".

Why is the compression rate so important?
JPG destroys the quality of your photowork, the more you compress your files. The skin is the first detail to be effected by a high compression rate. Use the following rule: "The smaller the filesize is, the more the picture quality will suck!"

Should I zip my images?
You can do so, if you want to. But this will not make your transmission faster, because jpg is already compressed and running another compression on top of it, will not have any tremendous positive effect.

How many pictures should I send?
A good contribution will have at least 6 - 10 pictures. If you are submitting a larger batch of pictures, please do not send more than 10 photos in one email.

What about my copyrights?
By sending in your photos to our site, you allow us to show your photos on our web site and to promote our website. The copyright will remain yours.

Legal advice for explicit pictures and videos - Explicit pictures will be published in the sbaExplicit section. Besides all the requirements stated for explicit pictures, additionally you need to have following records on file available for inspection for every explicit picture/video you submit: The legal name and date of birth of each performer, obtained by the photographer's examination of a picture identification card. Your records shall also include a legible copy of the identification document examined and, if that document does not contain a recent and recognizable picture of the performer, a legible copy of a picture identification card. If you do not have those records for the explicit pictures you want to submit, you will violate federal US law. To be more practical, as long as you submit explicit pics of yourself and your wife, you should have no problem to ID yourself and to prove your age. When you photograph any other person than your wife, you will need to make sure to photocopy the person's driver licence or passport, write down the name, DoB and address of the model and keep those files for 10 years in order to comply with U.S. law. Additionally the law of your country of residence might require further things.

It is your responsibility to make sure that you do not violate the laws of your country of residence/citizenship.
